Job Overview
This position will be based at the Frozen Goods site in Shalimar Street, Samabula reporting to the Site Manager.
The nature of the role includes:
- Planning, organizing, and managing warehouse and daily inventory at the Frozen Goods site.
- Controlling inventory and stock management
- Ensuring all warehouse procedures are followed and FIFO is adhered to
- Ensuring all inventory records and data is accurately captured
- Coaching, developing and supervising staff to ensure high level of competency
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Building a culture of accountability and high performance
Key Skills and Attributes required:
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferably in Supply Chain management.
- 3 years’ leadership experience in warehouse management preferably in an FMCG company
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
- Familiar with ERP systems preferably Syspro
- A valid group 2 driving license with no demerit points, holding a group 9 license would be an advantage
