Job Overview
This position will be based at the Frozen Goods site in Shalimar Street, Samabula reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.
The nature of the role incudes:
- Controlling and recording stock movement using the SYSPRO system
- Receiving and reconciling stock with deliveries
- Managing the warehouse facility to attain required storage environment
- Carrying out inventory checks, stock takes and reconciliation of stock
- Keeping a clean, safe work environment and optimizing space utilization
Key skills and attributes required:
- A diploma in Business Management or equivalent or
- 2+ years’ work experience in Warehousing preferably in an FMCG company
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- Sound knowledge of safety precautions and OHS requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A valid group 2 driving license with no demerit points is essential. Holding a Group 9 driving license is an advantage
