WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT – LAE MOROBE PROVINCE
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Warehouse Assistant be based in Lae, Morobe province.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Potential candidate needs to be physically fit, must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. We need someone who works well in a team and who is not afraid of a good challenge. It’s up to you to make your mark. Responsibilities include:
- Receive, count stock items, and record data manually.
- Arranging products in preparation for delivery to customers.
- Maintain delivery records and filling of customer acknowledgements.
- Verify inventory by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.
- Prepare outgoing deliveries to vendors or customers within specific time period.
- General maintenance within the warehouse.
- Clean and maintain suppliers, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements;
- Ability to multi – task, yet focus on specific projects, meeting established deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- A good listener; pays attention to details;
- Commitment to safety rules;
- Proven work experience of over 2 years working in a warehouse
- Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate
