Utility Hand

This role reports to the Head Utility Hand and Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator. The purpose of the role is to carry out cleaning of Fiji Airways and Fiji Link aircraft and Fiji Airways Facilities and provide assistance to Engineers in the completion of Aircraft Maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carries out work in accordance with the relevant Safety and OHS Procedures defined by the Company.
  • Cleans and maintains the cleanliness of interior and exterior in accordance with the Fiji Airways Aircraft Cleaning Manual Policy and Procedures Manual to the highest standards.
  • Carry out servicing of aircraft potable water and lavatory systems when directed by the Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Participate in the periodic servicing of Ground Servicing Equipment used by Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Diligently performs other duties as directed by the Head Utility Hand or Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Complies with the relevant employment contracts and the Company Policy and Procedures Manual.
  • Must be a self-starter with positive attitude, driven with passion, initiative and customer focused to deliver exceptional service.
  • Must be reliable, punctual and adaptive to changing priorities and situations.
  • Be able to work and consistently perform in a team environment by contributing suggestions and solutions to the Head Utility Hand or Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Form 6 (Year 12) Level or equivalent.
  • Holder of valid Driver’s license.
  • Any formal training in Housekeeping and Cleanliness would be an advantage.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
  • Basic Proficiency in English language is required.
