We care about your growth, development, and success and invest in a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and innovation.

We are now recruiting for the position of Technical Specialist – Light Fleet Maintenance.

This role adds value to Lihir by upskilling our Light Fleet Fitters and Mechanics providing comprehensive on-the-job coaching and mentoring. Your main goal will be consistently achieving the highest standards in safety, work quality, and troubleshooting on the light fleet and ancillary fleet.

As part of our team, you will conduct preventive mechanical maintenance on a variety of equipment, attend to breakdowns, and diagnose faults. You will contribute to the quality control of the fleet by conducting regular equipment pre-release inspections while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and optimising the results.

If you are a self-motivated leader and have strong active listening and interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training, this role is for you.

Our motivated and dedicated workforce, 90% of which are Papua New Guinean, will inspire you, and together, we create a culturally enriching experience where life-long relationships can be formed within the industry.

At Lihir, we believe in the power of our people and the positive impact we can make. Join us and be part of something extraordinary.
