Team Leader – Taveuni
Our vibrant and warm team at Fiji link is looking to recruit a strong and passionate individual to fill the role of Team Leader. This role is based at the Taveuni Airport.
The successful incumbent will ensure that Fiji Link’s Brand Personality is personified through our Service Delivery and leads their respective teams in Front and Back of House opertaions ensuring that core values is ingrained in how we operate.
The purpose of the role of the Team Leader is to ensure Flight operations in a safe, secure and in accordance with regulation and Fiji Link manuals. The role is a supervisory role to monitor flighhts, coordinate and support the Front of House & Back of House Ground Handling and staff to drive safe and secure on-time departures. Ensure adherence to the safety, operational and statute requirements at all times. The role is also to ensure that there is no revenue leakages.
Key Responsibilities

Monitors the facilitation of passenger services from check-in, boarding, disembarking passengers and aircraft handling.

Handle the needs of delayed/ disrupted passengers and monitor the facilitaion and process of Cargo Acceptance and Release.

Promotes and drives revenue collection, handling and security of cash at the Airport is maintained.

Checks and ensures closure of flights in the Amadeus System as well as completion of the Load sheet in a timely manner.

Ensures that completion and forwarding of all Accountable Flight Documents on a daily basis to the Finance Department.

Maintains good work relationship with colleagues in Reservations, Sales, Engineering, Flight Operations and OCC.

Ensures excellent presentation of staff by monitoring Grooming standards and that good Housekeeping is maintained at the Check-in counters and Back of House.

Ensures that correct documentation is presented for both Passenger & Cargo Uplifts.

Maintains a high level of safety and security at all times and attends to other related duties as assigned.

Ensures that a desired level of Customer Service is delivered.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
-
A Form 7/ Year 13 pass or equivalent.

At least 3 years’ experience in airport/ aviation operation is required.

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Good supervisory skills and the ability to mentor and coach subordinates effectively.

Must be self- organised and capable of working under pressure.

Ability to build good relationships and be solution focused.

Must be familiar with regulations relating to airport operations and apply this correctly where necessary.
