Shop N Save Supermarket is a leading retail business operating its supermarkets, restaurants, and bakeries across Fiji.
Applications are invited from mature, suitably qualified and experienced persons for the below position based at our main office in Nabua, suva
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Attending to the recruitment process
- Attending to staff grievances and counselling staff
- Conducting a branch visit and liaising with employees on HR issues
- Timely and relevant Team Leaders when required
- Ensure compliance to all labor, OHS, Payroll Taxes and other statutory requirements
- Assist in developing all HR related policies, procedures, and programs
- Identify competency gaps and organize training or recruitment to fill the gap
- Support other functions as assigned by the Employer
Minimum Qualifications & Essential Attributes
- At least 2 years of progressive experience within HR role in a medium to large organisation, preferably in a retail environment
- Thorough understanding of Employment Relations Act and disciplinary procedures
- Possess high level of analytical skills and have an eye for details and be a team player
- Proven ability to work independently and under minimum supervision
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and an ability to think strategically and holistically
