Fiji Water is bottle at source in a world class facility with state of the art equipment located at Yaqara and is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the open positions.

Job Description

  • Strategic Project Management: Drive performance improvement initiatives bridging Production, Reliability, and Packaging Strategies. Collaborate with departments to ensure OEE, ME, and safety targets within project timelines and budgets.
  • Performance Enhancement and Innovation: Lead performance improvement initiatives for processes, production, and equipment. Align Production, Reliability, and Packaging Strategies for seamless process flow, emphasizing sustainability and quality.
  • Packaging Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement packaging strategies, focusing on cost reduction, sustainability, and product protection. Define Fiji Water trial protocols in collaboration with Global Packaging, meeting Fiji Water’s unique needs.
  • Material Selection, Compliance, and Design Innovation: Identify suitable packaging materials, ensuring compliance and tailored solutions for Fiji Water. Drive design innovation enhancing brand identity, user experience, and sustainability for Fiji Water.
  • Cost Optimization and Supplier Management: Optimize packaging costs while ensuring quality standards for Fiji Water. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and share RMIP results during monthly meetings.
  • Quality Control and Training: Implement quality measures ensuring product integrity, emphasizing Fiji Water’s requirements. Provide training on packaging best practices, addressing Fiji Water’s unique needs.
  • Problem Solving and Communication: Address packaging issues, offer improvement solutions, and provide regular updates on Fiji Water trials in operations meetings. Collaborate with local suppliers to meet Fiji Water’s packaging needs efficiently.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in packaging, with a strong track record of successful packaging projects.
  • Profound knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and sustainability trends.
  • Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, ASTM).
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in cost analysis and reduction strategies.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and packaging simulation tools.
