The Opportunity
The Student Officer – Assessment position is responsible for the day-to-day timely processing of Assessment activities especially in the areas of Examinations, Grades, Completion of Programs and Letter of Certification, in accordance with University procedures and regulations and in line with the agreed turnaround times. The incumbent will also be required to help out in other Student Administrative Service processes.
The Person we Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Completion of a degree in relevant field with relevant administrative working experience, preferably in a tertiary institution; or
- Completion of a diploma in relevant field and two (2) years subsequent relevant work experience; or
- Completion of a post-trades certificate or advanced certificate in relevant field and five (5) years of relevant experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
- Experience in carrying out multiple tasks within tight deadlines;
- A strong customer service orientation;
- Good command of oral and written English language;
- Experience and competency in MS Word and MS Excel; and
- Very good inter-personal skills, be self-motivated person, be a team player, change-oriented, has strong attention to detail and results focused.

The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement
Salary Range
- FJ $23,332.36 to FJ $29,462.56 per annum
