We are now recruiting for the position of Senior Specialist – Ports & Logistics.
This role adds value to Lihir by overseeing all maritime activities and ensuring the safe and efficient management of ports and logistics operations.
Ideally, our preferred applicant holds a relevant industry qualification (advanced diploma, or certification) with at least 7 years of experience with customs, shipping operations, and safe movement of personnel, cargo, and vessels through the ports.
As part of our team, you will ensure that the port facility is inspected daily and always maintained in operational status. Additionally, actively maintain a liaison with masters, ship officers, cargo planners, shippers, receivers, and shipping companies and complete all associated documentation and reporting functions.
If you are a self-motivated leader and have strong active listening and interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training, this role is for you.
