We are now recruiting for the position of Senior Engineer – Mechanical Reliability
This role adds value to Lihir by developing optimised operation and maintenance strategies for plant equipment based on reliability methodologies. Your impact will be instrumental in reducing equipment downtime, optimizing life cycle costs, and strengthening equipment availability.
Ideally, our preferred applicant must hold a Mechanical Engineering Degree, with at least 7 years of professional background in mineral processing / heavy industry environment with significant Reliability experience (essential).
As part of our team, you also will be accountable for Defect Elimination & Root Cause Analysis, Condition Monitoring and assisting in the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program, Hydrocarbon Management and provide guidance and act as a mentor in the development of national engineers and technical specialists.
