We are now recruiting for the position of Electrical & Instrumentation Planner.

This role adds value to Lihir by supporting the Oxygen Plant Planning & Scheduling team in delivering the shutdown goals of safety, quality, schedule, and cost while working with all other shutdown areas to ensure an integrated approach.

Ideally, our preferred applicant holds a Dual Electrical & Instrumentation Trades Qualification (an Engineering Degree is desirable), with 5 to 7 years of experience in fixed plant maintenance planning and scheduling in heavy industry environments. Experience in Cryogenic Air Separation Units is highly regarded.

As part of our team, you will be an expert in Electrical and Instrumentation systems and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of planning using SAP and MS Projects. You will also be accountable for coordinating the day-to-day planning and scheduling of the Assets Management Maintenance Program, planning modular shutdowns and overhauls, screening work requests, and confirming scope of work for assigned areas of responsibility.
