Job Overview
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hands-On Restaurant Supervisor to join our exceptional team at Royal Davui Island Resort. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As the Hands-On Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role working with our Restaurant Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining outlets, maintaining exceptional service standards, and leading a team of talented individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the restaurant manager, oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurants, ensuring efficiency and maintaining the highest level of service.
- Lead and inspire a team of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Train, coach, and mentor staff members to uphold service standards and exceed guest expectations.
- Monitor and manage the restaurant’s inventory, including supplies, equipment, and beverages, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with the Chef to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house operations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies for enhancing restaurant performance and guest satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a high-end restaurant or resort setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English.
- Passion for providing exceptional guest service and creating unforgettable dining experiences.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with restaurant point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as required by the demands of the resort’s operation.
- Certification in Food Handling and Hygiene would be advantageous.
