- Process and input group, FIT and corporate reservations following resort reservations policy.
- Ensures all reservations are accurately actioned within the same working day.
- Answers all calls promptly within three rings using specified greeting for the resort, in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Ensures all guest enquiries and reservations for all resort services are actioned according to standard operating procedure.
- Ensures all outward correspondence complies with department procedures, and any unusual correspondence is authorized by the Reservations Manager.
- Maintains a positive selling approach to maximize yield in both occupancy and rates.
- Assists Front Office as required, especially with guest check-in and check-out during peak periods of operation.
- Takes every opportunity to be a salesperson by actively selling special promotions available within the resort.
- Conducts weekly check on room rates
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
· Has relevant qualification from a recognized tertiary institution
· Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a resort establishment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Is a self-starter, has a drive, initiative and highly motivated
· Is able to live and work in an island resort environment
