Job Overview
The Regional Advocacy & Communications Officer coordinates the development and implementation of SPTO’s overall Communications Strategy along with the communication strategies aligned to particular activities/projects and will be responsible for driving and achieving the following critical outcomes:
- Strategic communication & Regional Recovery Newsroom Functions delivered and supported
- Effective public relations, stakeholder engagement and program communications support provided
The person we seek will have at least 5 years’ experience and a Degree in Media, Communication or similar. The candidate must possess the following:
- Proven track record designing and executing successful communications strategies and monitoring frameworks
- Experience working with a diverse range of partners and community stakeholders
