Job Overview
Viti Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and we specialize in manufacturing canned tuna and mackerel products for local and export markets. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Quality Assurance Process Supervisor to be based at Lot 1 Baka Place, Laucala Beach.
Key Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Senior Quality Assurance Supervisor and will be involved in a variety of activities including but not limited to:
- Ensuring processes, materials and finished products meet all specified requirements for regulatory and food safety compliance
- Planning, directing and coordinating quality assurance programs and formulating quality control policies
- Developing quality standards for the organization and scheduling training programs, as well as refresher courses including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, HACCP, environmental monitoring, traceability and product release procedures
- Overseeing laboratory department and ensuring compliance and precise results
- Working with laboratory technicians to design and improve products and managing research and development of new products
- Managing HACCP and BRC,EU certification including Health license, Chemical registration, and other necessary certification
- Establishing clear objectives for multiple work groups /departments empowering and supporting the quality assurance and production team to achieve their objectives and targets
- Liaising with external bodies, authorities and consumers for quality related matters as and when required
Position Requirements:
- Degree in Science, Chemistry and Biology
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quality Assurance supervisor in a food processing plant with a thorough knowledge of Food Safety Regulation, HACCP and BRC, EU standards, and other system certifications.
- Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft office packages and PowerPoint presentation
- Good communication and interpersonal qualities.
- Should be performance-driven and thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment, whilst under pressure.
- Have the drive, energy, and personality to work as a team
