Job Overview

South Sea Cruises Group is Fiji’s most experienced and award-winning cruise operator offering a range of award-winning products throughout the stunning Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Officer with an excellent track record to be positioned at Port Denarau Marina and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Be able to maintain the current ISO certification for the company.
  • Lead and carry out internal audits for the company.
  • Work in conjunction with the Compliance Manager to ensure SSCG is fully compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure SSCG SOPs, Compliance certifications and Safe Ship Management Manuals are updated; in line with statutory and company requirements – work with HODs in ensuring staff are trained in these documents and policies.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in achieving and maintaining ISO Certification especially for ISO 14001:2015; ISO 45001:2018; ISO 9001:2015 and ISO31000:2018.
  • University Degree in Administration and or marine studies with 2-3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or a combination of relevant work experience and education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Highly responsible, reliable and self-motivated is essential.
