Our hotels need to always have sufficient stock of goods to serve our valued guests so we’re looking for a Purchasing Supervisor!
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Identify and develop reliable sources of supply
- Identify and organize adequate storage for all inventory
- Establish adequate record keeping and issuing procedures
- Protect inventories from wastage, spoilage and theft
- Build a strong working relationship with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with relevant processes and procedures
What we need from you
- Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
- Experience in a similar role. A background in hotel purchasing would be preferred but not essential.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Purchase Plus or any other purchasing software.
- Good understanding of purchasing trends in Port Moresby and existing relationship with suppliers and vendors
- Must reside within city limits
