Promoting Women’s Economic Empowerment Project aims to increase the economic and social wellbeing of women farmers in the Hela Province of Papua New Guinea. To reach this goal, CARE works in partnership with UN WOMEN staff, partners, market vendor members and community to promote women’s meaningful engagement in the agribusiness development and access and control over income and resources.

We are looking to hire highly motivated individuals who can fill the roles of:

Project Officer – Promoting Women’s Economic Empowerment (PWEE)

The Project Officer is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of project activities under PWEE, with a particular focus on facilitating partner trainings on gender and livelihoods and supporting partner extension agents. This project will be working in Hela Province and will require some travel to rural, remote areas where the project implementation occurs.
