We believe supporting women and girls is one of the most effective ways to create sustainable outcomes in poor communities.
Promoting Women’s Economic Empowerment Project aims to increase the economic and social wellbeing of women farmers in the Hela Province of Papua New Guinea. To reach this goal, CARE works in partnership with UN WOMEN staff, partners, market vendor members and community to promote women’s meaningful engagement in the agribusiness development and access and control over income and resources.
We are looking to hire highly motivated individuals who can fill the roles of:
Project Coordinator – Promoting Women’s Economic Empowerment Project (PWEE)
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all project activities, taking a leading role in the design of project activities, coordinate and lead implementation and monitoring of project activities and oversee the work and field team.
The Project Coordinator will also take lead in partner relationships and coordinate activities with partners. This project will be working in Hela Province and will require some travel to rural, remote areas where the project implementation occurs.
