Job Overview
Pricing Analyst
This role of Pricing Analyst is to execute strategic and competitive pricing policies to stimulate demand and maximize revenue opportunities for Fiji Airways. The successful incumbent is also required to execute pricing decisions for ancillary services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyses proposals from regions and provide justifications for recommending approval or disapproval.

Consult with Revenue Management Team on booking class allocation and periods of travel.

File all approved fares accurately using the fare filing tools platform in a timely manner.

Communicate approved fares and tariffs to Finance, Revenue Management, Reservations, Sales, Marketing and E-commerce.

Analyze performance of all published fare initiatives and provide reports to regions.

Review Fiji Airways structure fares as and when required and recommend necessary changes.

Conduct regular fare audits to ensure that all fares are filed correctly and auto pricing.

Conduct regular reviews of competitor activity across the network by mining data from various electronic data sources and input from regional offices to maintain a continuous watch on competitor pricing and implement pricing changes to maintain market share.

Recommend and implement pricing strategies to ensure that Fiji Airways Group remains competitive.

Coordinate sign-off of all partnership agreements with relevant analysis supporting the need for these agreements.

Analyze, recommend and implement ancillary services pricing.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Finance & Management or a related discipline.

At least 3 years of work experience in an analytical related role will be added advantage.

Working knowledge of Amadeus, passenger fares and ticketing will be advantage.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications.

Ability to work under minimum supervision and take ownership of responsibilities.

Ability to work well in high-pressure situations and display high level of accuracy.

Possess strong analytical skills and willing to adapt quickly to new learning environment.

Good organizational and problem-solving skills to deliver high quality results to tight timelines.

Ability to influence and challenge key stakeholders.

Possess great interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels in the organization.
