Reporting to the Team Leader Payroll & Analytics the successful candidate will be responsible for providing pro-active customer focused integrated payroll service to Fiji Airways and Fiji Link employees. You should be highly organised, able to multi task, be process driven and detail oriented as well as have an ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.


  • Ensure processing of Payroll/HR records in a timely and accurate manner including base pay, allowances, employee leave, deductions, new hires, terminations and employee movements.
  • Process and liaise with offshore payroll providers in relation to salary processing, Superannuation, Tax, employee leave, new hire and exit, incentive payments and special payments.
  • Demonstrate experience in the use of an integrated Payroll/HRIS, preferably Pay Global and understand how information contained in a HRIS is used for reporting and decision-making.
  • Resolve complex issues with employees and managers in the interpretation of conditions of employment relating to entitlements and payments.
  • Facilitate audit for Payroll ensuring appropriate controls are in place for payroll processes and information is maintained in an audit ready state.
  • Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements that are HR related as well as ensuring non-compliance does not exist within the records management of Payroll.
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly HR reports for internal and external stakeholders e.g. monthly head count report, monthly leave liability report and monthly organizational charts.
  • Work closely with IT and the service provider for system enhancement testing and management.


  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Human Resource Management.
  • Proficient in the use of HRIS preferably PayGlobal.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a HR Operational/ Payroll/ Shared Services environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
