Likuliku Lagoon Resort is an award-winning boutique, luxury escape for couples located in the Mamanuca group of islands and comprises 45 rooms including Fiji’s first Over Water accommodation, a   signature restaurant, private function room, two bars, boutique, spa and gymnasium.

We are now seeking suitably qualified industry professionals for the below positions with outstanding knowledge and expertise in five star product delivery to join our dynamic team.

 

ACTIVITIES ATTENDANT

  • Minimum 3 years proven experience in a Resort or Hotel
  • Relevant education and qualifications
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • Naturalist with sea and land based interpretive skills and good knowledge of local Fijian history
  • Sound knowledge of the Mamanuca region a distinctive advantage
  • Ability to provide safety briefing and explanation for all activities ensuring policies & procedures

are maintained at all times

  • Master class boat license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self -motivated and reliable with outgoing personality
  • Excellent guitar skills with both lead and rhythm experience
  • Good work ethic and must be physically fit and healthy

CARPENTER/JOINER

  • Trade qualifications an advantage
  • Understanding of Safety and Environmental regulations and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of Trade positions, qualifications and responsibilities in relation to general resort maintenance works
  • Thorough understanding of work place health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a resort or hotel
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels.
  • Ability to provide a quality service and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and trustworthy

COMMI CHEF

  • 4 – 5 years’ experience in a 4 or 5 star resort or hotel
  • Possess excellent grooming and presentation, customer service skills and professional salesmanship attributes with a can do attitude
  • Have proven track records and be able to perform under pressure to consistently maintain high standards of service
  • Ability to work in a team environment and as required including any public holidays
  • Hard-worker, passionate, team player, dynamic, trustworthy, and physically fit and healthy
  • Ability to live and work on an island resort working on a fortnight roster basis
  • Specialize in making dough and pizza

Pastry Chef

The suitable applicant will be responsible for ensuring food standard, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques are maintained at a high level.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same role in a Resort/Hotel
  • Relevant trade qualifications from recognized institute
  • Must have positive attitude and be able to perform under pressure to consistently maintain high standards of food production
  • Flexibility in adapting to special requests will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences that will see guests returning time and time again
  • Ability to provide a quality service and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Must have passion for food excellence and good communication skills

FRONT OFFICE RECEPTIONIST

–       Minimum 3 years work experience within a 4-5 star resort/hotel

–      Relevant Front Office Qualifications

–      Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite and switchboard PABX systems

–      Essential experience in  Front Office Opera System

–      Cashiering experience with clean proven track record

–      Excellent attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to standards

–      Must be customer focused and respond promptly to guests needs

–      Excellent verbal and written communication skills on all levels

–      Must be honest, reliable and have a friendly and outgoing personality

–      Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment as well as independently

–   High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work flexible hours.

–      Remote island experience and working with other cultures an advantage

–      Valid driver license an advantage
