Job Overview
The Marketing Officer assists with building SPTO’s brand awareness and provides customer/stakeholder services through the development and implementation of SPTO’s marketing initiatives, advertising, and communications strategies. S/he reports to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for driving and achieving the following critical outcomes:
- Effective marketing, public relations, communications and campaign initiatives developed and implemented through the creation of marketing activities for maximum brand awareness
- Ensure divisional management, support and leadership through the coordination and dissemination of marketing information and stakeholder engagement
The person we seek will have at least 5 years’ experience and a Degree in Tourism Management, Marketing, Communication or Journalism or related discipline. The candidate must possess the following:
- Innovative and highly creative with experience in market research and analysis, and identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
- Proven ability to formulate successful marketing plans to maximise brand impact, member and customer growth, and knowledge of digital marketing (e.g. social media)
