Job Overview

We are seeking to recruit highly motivated individual for the following role in our Marketing Department:

Marketing Executive – Sponsorship (Requisition ID 1878):

As the Marketing Executive-Sponsorship, you will be responsible for managing marketing sponsorship for Fiji Market.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Takes steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of Digicel brand through agreed goals and objectives;
  • Work across the organization to conceptualize and develop activation plan on sponsorship assets available within markets, and identify opportunities to increase brand value and drive incremental revenue for the organization;
  • To support markets in achieving revenue target; based on agreed guidelines and principles;
  • To ensure budget allocation for each sponsorship initiative is planned, executed, monitored and evaluated. Ensure approval process between Market and Hub is in place;
  • Ensure brand personality and identity consistency across market based on developed guidelines;
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of overall marketing campaigns & communications;
  • In-country assessment of sponsorship and other form of brand activation with recommendations; discuss with Market and Hub team and define moving forward;
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives;
  • Discuss and evaluate sponsor campaigns based on the agreed KPI and parameters (Image perception, Social media engagement etc.) Advocating the brand on social networks. Create social persona and actively go out within the online community to connect with potential customers and advocate the brand;
  • At the operational or day-to-day level, responsible for brand visibility and execution of branding comms in all sponsor events;
  • Creatively use sponsorship assets to build and demonstrate innovative marketing programs;
  • Ensure markets Public relations and Press Releases are aligned to the company objective.

Academics qualifications and/or experience required for the role:

  • Preferred Diploma in the relevant field with 2-3 years of work experience
  • Commercial flair,
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills,
  • Qualified chartered marketer,
  • Strong analytical and project management skills,
  • Confident and dynamic personality,
  • Strong creative outlook.
