Pactrade (PNG) Limited is an established FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Good) distributor and a Subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies in Fiji. Pactrade is represented in PNG with its Head Office in Port Moresby and a branch in Lae, Morobe Province.

MARKETING ASSISTANT– PORT MORESBY

We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Marketing Assistant Position, based in Port Moresby. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange marketing promotional campaigns in all regions.
  • Support the sales team with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives.
  • Attend to customers via phone, email or in person and maintain good relationship with them
  • Communicate internally important feedback from customers
  • Maintain client records and mainly preparation of daily, weekly, & monthly reports.
  • Maintain company digital marketing platforms.
  • Planning of marketing activities of the company.
  • Liaise with advertising firms for point of sales material.
  • Do market research activities on competitor products.

Job Requirements

  • A valid PNG Driver’s Licence is a compulsory
  • Hands on experience in handling marketing functions previously.
  • Familiar with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in sales & marketing and administration
  • Minimum Diploma Certificate in sales and marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English & Pidgin
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.
