Job Overview

The Marketing and Promotions Coordinator will be responsible for developing, coordinating and executing all marketing and promotional activity in the United States and Canada for Fiji Airways.

The successful candidate will ensure that Fiji Airways is prominently featured and have a strong brand presence at all consumer, trade and media events. The role will support the objectives of the Fiji Airways marketing and brand teams and work closely with the Americas sales team by coordinating all in-region marketing and promotional activities required.

This position will report to the Regional General Manager Americas.


  • Create a broader awareness of Fiji Airways and Fiji destinations by developing marketing opportunities for Fiji Airways throughout the United States and Canada with Tourism Fiji, Fiji partner organizations, marketing firms, film and amusement companies.
  • Coordinate, plan and execute all marketing and promotional activities for the Americas region, working closely with Marketing and PR departments in Fiji.
  • Evaluate all joint marketing programs with trade and media partners in the region and establish the ROI that Fiji Airways requires from these activities.
  • Organize and host regular Webinars with travel agents to keep them updated on Fiji Airways and Fiji.
  • Keep track of all marketing initiatives to make sure they are producing the desired results.
  • Build a consistent presence for Fiji Airways by representing the brand at consumer and trade events in the US and Canada and and work with travel influencers and media to get the most exposure for your travel business.
  • Produce and distribute a trade newsletter for the Americas market, maintain and grow an agency database.


  • Tertiary level qualification (4-year university / college degree) in the area of sales, marketing or business management or the equivalent, with strong academic performance.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in marketing.
  • Experience coordinating and executing marketing events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products.
  • Travel or Airline Experience a strong plus but not required.
  • Must be able to travel regularly; domestically and internationally
