Manager Ecommerce and Web

Reporting to the Executive Manager Sales, Marketing &Digital, the successful individual that will fill the role of Manager Ecommerce & Web Content will be responsible for Ecommerce strategy and execution across all owned Web & Mobile assets while ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is required to take a data-driven approach to help the organization reach its commercial targets with a proven track record of delivering results.

The role also helps manage the various digital projects undertaken throughout Fiji Airways including the onboarding of Salesforce.


      The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage Ecommerce activities and strategy to drive online sales and revenue growth for Fiji Airways.
  • Manage all new website content and change requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Manage Sale fare pages, web banners, tiles and landing page optimization LPO.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Manage CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) to increase website conversion rates and improvements using customer funnel analysis.
  • Oversee both Web and Mobile Analytics, and manage Conversion Tagging, Tracking and Reporting for Digital Marketing team.
  • Manage SEO (Search Engine Optimization) including Keyword Research, Performance Dashboards and Automated Reports to drive organic search traffic and improve rankings.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing team to rollout Personalization using Salesforce.
  • Oversee UI and UX design including FJ Mobile app and Salesforce to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Monitor Ecommerce metrics, such as traffic sources, booking trends and customer type and behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision-making.
  • Determine key performance metrics and incorporate them in the UX design and processes
  • Manage Ecommerce Analytics, KPIs and Reporting, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Translate organizational and departmental objectives into Ecommerce objectives and KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date on Ecommerce trends and best practices, and continually innovate and optimize our online sales channels.
  • Build a strong positive relationship with internal departments and external partners and vendors to ensure the highest quality of service, engagement and delivery.
  • Attend industry-leading events to learn and vet potential technologies and partners that may lead to competitive edge.


  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the area of Computing Science or the equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Ecommerce with a focus on SEO, CRO, UI and UX
  • Experience with Website and Mobile App development.
  • Experience with Email Marketing Platforms, Google Analytics, UTM & Tag Management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with ecommerce analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience with ecommerce CMS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment to deliver exceptional and timely service.
  • Competency in MS Office – Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Articulate with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
