Manager Brand and Content

Fiji Airways seeks to recruit an innovative individual to drive the Fiji Airways brand globally and ensure strict conformity and consistent communication. The successful appointee will ensure the brand positioning and strategy is delivered across all platforms that will grow awareness and reach to assist in achieving the commercial strategy and objectives of the airline and revitalize the brand every year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implement Market Research that harness key consumer insights, category and competitor insights with external and internal stakeholders to build annual marketing plans.
  • Establishes a means of measuring brand awareness and key message recognition.
  • Manages the development and implementation of the Fiji Airways brand strategy with a global localized approach in each market.
  • Manages the overall messaging strategy across the airline and all its products and services.
  • Manages the brand development and marketing of new product and services.
  • Manages branding execution of all global events.
  • Identify and leverage cost-effective, high-reach, targeted and responsive communication channels, internally & externally to push content to customers.
  • Manages the development of strategic branded content to support the growth of the airlines brand.
  • Ensures global standards for all shoots and video productions.
  • Engage internal stakeholders to audit and identify gaps “together” between brand expectations verse actual experience on the ground / in the air (at every touch point with FJ).
  • Manages the design and creative development process of all brand campaigns.
  • Executes yearly brand audits globally to ensure conformity to brand standards and guidelines.
  • Directs the Marketing Coordinators to achieve Brand goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a Marketing / Business degree from a recognized University.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in formulating brand plans, managing / maintaining brand budgets (preferably direct to consumer in international markets) and stakeholder / staff management.
  • Ability to build relationship with key tourism partners, marketing and media agencies.
