Job Overview
Responsibilities:
As a Kitchen Steward at Royal Davui Island Resort, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and related areas. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Dishwashing and Sanitation:
- Ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
- Operating dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
Kitchen Organization:
- Assisting in the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly storage area for kitchen utensils and equipment.
Supporting Culinary Team:
- Assisting chefs and kitchen staff as needed.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Adherence to Safety Standards:
- Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Properly handling and disposing of kitchen waste.
Staff Meals
- Preparing meals for the team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
