Job Overview


As a Kitchen Steward at Royal Davui Island Resort, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and related areas. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Dishwashing and Sanitation:
  • Ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
  • Operating dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.

Kitchen Organization:

  • Assisting in the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly storage area for kitchen utensils and equipment.

Supporting Culinary Team:

  • Assisting chefs and kitchen staff as needed.
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen.

Adherence to Safety Standards:

  • Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Properly handling and disposing of kitchen waste.

Staff Meals

  • Preparing meals for the team.


  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
