Job Overview

Ahura Resorts is the management company operating two of Fiji’s award-winning, most popular, and well-known resorts – Malolo Island Resort, and Likuliku Lagoon Resort in the Mamanucas.

We are seeking enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic team to provide IT Support to our Nadi Office & the 2 island Resorts (Likuliku Lagoon & Malolo Island resort)

Reporting directly to the ICT Manager, the position requires a strong hands-on approach and is ideally suited to qualified candidates currently in a similar role within a 4–5-star Island Resort/IT environment. The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes and skills:

Knowledge:

  • Computer / Information Technology Diploma.
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role or relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in Oracle Applications; Opera PMS, Micros POS and Materials Control is desirable.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows OS e.g.: Windows 10&11, Windows Server 2016-2022.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software, networks, data structure, VOIP.
  • Basic to mid-level knowledge in troubleshooting and providing help desk support.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills in Time management, multitasking and prioritizing.
  • Handle Pressure.
  • Be able to meet deadlines and lead times.
  • Positive attitude to all tasks.
  • Problem solving – common sense is a must!
  • Creativity in solving problems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level helpdesk support to all staff.
  • Support and maintain the company’s IT networks.
  • Being a substantive team member, in IT infrastructure projects.
  • Providing remote hardware, software, desktop, and application support
  • Assist IT Manager in various tasks and routines.

This is an Island based position.
