The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists at the Secretariat for any suitable candidates wishing to fill the position of IT Assistant.  Reporting to the Team Leader Information Services through the IT User Support Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for providing timely and efficient Information Technology support to users.

 

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • End User Support;
  • Information Security;
  • Assisting the System Admin in Network Support;
  • Assisting the Meeting Support Team on Request; and

The Secretariat seeks an agile and proficient individual with Diploma in Information Technology or in relevant field with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, including network administration or user support role. Very good communications skills, both spoken and written, and strong interpersonal communication skills with customer service focus.

The Benefits

The appointment will carry a competitive remuneration and benefits package including medical and life insurance. The salary will be in the range of F$26,118 to $29,462  per annum.
