HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

At Digicel Pacific, we are looking for dynamic people to join our growing team. As such, we are excited to announce an opportunity
for the role of Human Resources Manager at Digicel Samoa Limited.
The role plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within an organization. The
Human Resources Manager is also responsible for developing and implementing people strategies, policies, and programs that
align with Digicel Samoa's goals and objectives. If you believe you have the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced telecommunication industry that meets the desired requirements, we would like to hear from you! This role will be based in Samoa.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business objectives.
b) Manage the full cycle of recruitment and selection processes. This includes developing job descriptions, advertising
job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers. Ensure that the organization attracts
and retains top talent.
c) Foster positive employee relations by promoting open communication, addressing employee concerns, and mediating conflicts.
d) Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and investigations following established policies and legal requirements.
e) Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and development plans.
f) Administer DSL's compensation and benefits programs and ensure that compensation packages are competitive, fair, and aligned with industry standards.
g) Identify training and development needs within DSL and design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
h) Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
i) Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive work culture.
j) Oversee HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, managing HRIS systems, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits.
k) Track and analyze HR metrics, such as turnover rates, recruitment statistics, and employee satisfaction surveys.
I) Provide adequate health and safety systems to ensure employee safety
m) Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

a) Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
b) 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Manager or in a similar HR leadership role.
c) Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
d) Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant software.
