The People & Resources Division is seeking an experienced Human Resource Coordinator. The position requires a deep understanding of Recruitment, Performance Management, Remuneration & Benefits, Training & Development and Employee Relations. This role also requires strong problem solving and decision-making skills, be effective in managing conflicts and highly organised.


  • Organisational structures/ redesign – providing advice to departments on organisational structures and challenge existing structures to improve effectiveness;
  • Recruitment & Retention – act as first point of contact for recruitment needs and overview progress against workforce plans and implement measures that can improve retention of staff;
  • Succession planning – liaising with line managers in identifying and developing succession pools for key roles;
  • Remuneration review process – co-ordinating the implementation of the remuneration processes, working with line managers to ensure consistency is maintained.
  • Performance Management – coaching team leaders in the effective application of the performance review processes;
  • Workforce Planning – liaising with department managers in identifying their manpower needs as required;
  • Complex case management – conduct investigations including discipline, performance management and take appropriate actions in resolving these issues accordingly;
  • Learning & Development – facilitate the development and implementation of employee development and career plans with the team leaders as required;

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Diploma qualified in HR or Business-related discipline;
  • Minimum five years’ experience since graduation in generalist HR with a proven track record in;
    o End to end recruitment & selection
    o Organisation change management
    o Case management and performance management
  • Service Delivery –outcome focussed;
  • Communication – engaging and consultative approach;
  • Influencing – ability to challenge with persuasive arguments;
  • Be Analytical;
