Job Overview
Summary of Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
- Ensure the timely updating of accurate records in PayGlobal.
- Update and maintain records of changes in staff salaries as required.
- Maintain correct cost centers of all staff in payroll software so that correct codes are reflected in the Navision software.
- Register and enroll in Bio-Metric. Prepare weekly biometric reports and forward them to the supervisors.
- Create accurate personnel files for all contracted and casual staff upon recruitment and ensure that all required documents are provided by the staff.
- Accurately update Sick Leave (Inpatient and Outpatient), Bereavement, Maternity Leaves, Paternity, and Family Care leave in PayGlobal.
- Update Sick Leave/Bereavement and Family care leave credits on PayGlobal manually.
- Accurately calculate terminal pay upon resignation/exit of a staff.
- Close personnel files once a staff exits and reduce the annual leave balance upon exit and final payment.
- Manage the petty cash allocated to HR. Ensure correct reconciliation of the funds.
- Prepare correct monthly leave reports and reconcile monthly headcounts.
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- The candidate must have a degree in Human Resources Management or similar from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR Administration or in a similar role.
- Industry knowledge on Employment Relations Act compliance/legislation, as well as Corporate Policies.
- Strong Interpersonal, Communication, and Analytical skills.
Computer knowledge is essential, especially Microsoft Office Program.
Knowledge of PayGlobal will be an added advantage. Vacancy No:25/22
