Job Overview

Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited seeks an experienced person to fill in the role of Head of Channel Activation.

The role will be required to lead the bank channels’ brand execution platforms whilst working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Group Strategy. On a day-to-day basis the role will take ownership of delivering on the channels brand execution strategy through a developed marketing plan that brings the strategy to life with the channels’ key customers. The role entails delivering against the targets agreed and operationalised to align with drivers set out in the channel plans.

Outline of duties:

  • Developing future growth opportunities and brand execution platforms within digital and direct channels
  • Evaluate channels, providing recommendations on how they should be utilised to establish and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Develop close working relationship with cross functional partners including brand teams, customer management and strategy
  • Support creation and implementation of channel activation plans linking back to brand outcomes required
  • Proactively offer ideas and advice to develop and improve the way we deliver content
  • Develop customer base through understanding of key customer strategies to support the organisation in improving brand visibility and performance
  • Evaluation of activations within the channel
  • Develop team capability and future talent pipeline
  • Accountable for translation and delivery strategy, through a clear set of activation led outcomes that are tracked through the year
  • Ownership of monthly performance cycle tracking supporting the relationship and sales team on their in-year delivery
  • Support the Customer Relationship Management team through delivery of inspirational brand execution selling in key customer meetings and engagement days

Experience and qualifications:

  • Strong customer marketing expertise with solid experience in developing and delivering commercially grounded marketing activity into customers
  • Track record of successfully activating service brand, product, and portfolio activities
  • Experience of working with multiple customers across different channels in a consumer-led organisation
  • Commercial and category understanding
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management and sales
  • Strategic thinking and ability to shape a vision, create an annual plan and engage a wide network of stakeholders to deliver that plan with key customers
  • Meticulous project management capability and commercial grounding to ensure delivery of plans
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong internal relationships and customer relationships to influence, challenge and deliver
  • Strong Leadership and influencing capability
  • Experience of Budget management
