Graduate Trainee – Finance
The role will be responsible for learning and understanding the business from a finance perspective. Performing the financial month end process, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow forecasting, multicurrency forecast and financial reporting to support enhanced business performance for the allocated departments. Building communication skills and relationships with both internal and external finance stake holders.The graduate trainees will perform a 6 months attachment in Financial Planning & Analysis department or Treasury and will rotate when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs month end process for the allocated department and ensures detailed analysis for cost and revenue. Variance analysis in respect to price, activity, exchange or other drivers with detailed commentary. Also performs month end accruals and account reconciliations.

Prepares budgets and forecasts for the allocated business unit.

Performs daily cash flow reporting and explain drivers for inflows and outflows and provides a cash flow summary to support business decisions.

Executes multi-currency forecasting and provides variance analysis for major currencies and highlights to treasury team for any currency shortfall or surplus to ensure appropriate liquidity levels are maintained.

Comprehend and prepare, monitor and control, the accounts for a department or business unit, to ensure a true and fair view of that department or business unit’s financial affairs is recorded.

Recommend viable options to reduce cost, increase revenue or improve efficiency, effectiveness or economy across the business.

Completion of ad hoc projects and reports when required.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

A minimum of a Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.

Team player and ability to build relationships with internal finance team and other departments that they liaise with.

Good interpersonal and communication skills with a positive can do attitude.

Analytical and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
