Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Enforce service, safety, and sanitation standards along with steps of service
- Effectively utilize point of sales equipment and handle cash & credit transactions
- Carry loaded trays, stand on feet for long periods of time and maintain a professional relationship with staff
- Implement and track standard operating procedures for their effectiveness
- Carry out self-evaluations post-training, be able to implement a continuous improvement process, and carry out on-the-job training
- Focus on achieving exceptional guest experiences through establishing extensive research on guest needs
- Be aware of the daily & weekly specials at the Restaurant & Bar, communicate to staff, and work in collaboration with property operations, front office, conference, events, and all F&B outlets
- Understand International & Local Clientele
- Closely work with the Heads of Departments in establishing high service standards
Qualification & Attributes
- Minimum of 3 years experience and strong F&B knowledge
- Possess at least a diploma certification in Hospitality with good spoken & written English
- Have strong supervisory & leadership skills
- Able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations including the ability to handle guest complaints and resolve them to satisfactory results
- Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office programs & Hotel Operating Software
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
