Job Overview

Return to Paradise Resort is seeking to appoint a Financial controller to join the dynamic team at this exciting resort.

The appointee will be expected to oversee all aspects of the financial performance of the Resort

Applications will only be accepted from those who have:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Five year’s minimum corporate accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar
  • Experience in preparation of regular account summaries v KPIs for the General Manager and Board
  • Experience in the preparation of all annual accounts for audit
  • Experience in preparing sales tax returns, Payroll, and ACC
  • Knowledge of local tax law and obligations
  • Knowledge and experience with RoomMaster or similar Customer Management Software, Booking engines, and their integration with standard accounting packages
  • Proven ability to lead and train a Finance team
  • Honesty and Integrity
  • Hardworking, goes the extra mile
  • Impeccable references from previous employers to prove the points above

Industry experience would be an advantage.
