Ahura Resorts is a 100% Fijian owned company dedicated to providing quality vacation and lifestyle experiences whilst preserving cultural values and the surrounding environment. It is the management company operating two of Fiji’s most popular, well-known and multi award-winning resorts in the Mamanuca Islands – Malolo Island Resort, and the luxury escape with Fiji’s first and only authentic over-water bures, Likuliku Lagoon Resort.
We are now seeking a competent professional for the below position. Successful candidates will ideally meet the following requirements:
Finance Intern x2 (Nadi Based)
– Must have recently graduated or be pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
– Experience in any Finance position in the hospitality industry would be an added advantage but not necessary.
- Good computer skills with excellent knowledge of MS Office packages
- Should be innovative, self-motivated, have a good attitude and able to multi-task.
- Must be flexible in approach to work, be able to work to strict deadlines and competing demands.
- Must also be prepared to work more than 88 hrs. per fortnight including weekends and public holidays.
- Based at our Nadi office but the position requires regular commuting to the Island for audits and stock takes.
Island Accounts Supervisor / Night Auditor (Island based)
Criteria:
- Must have a Diploma in Accounting or Hotel Management
- At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry with knowledge and experience in Night Auditing
- Computer literate with skills in MS office applications, PMS-Opera, Micros POS and Materials Control Inventory system.
- Good knowledge of hotel accounting systems and procedures.
- Should be innovative, self-motivated and have a good attitude. Able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
- Must be flexible in approach to work, be able to work to strict deadlines and competing demands.
- Should possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to work extra and long hours under pressure.
