Job Overview
Farm Supervisor
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Assist Farm Manager in managing farm operational activities in accordance with established poultry guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Preparation of poultry sheds in accordance with established procedures & supervise planned intake of layers or broilers
- Attainment of production target
- Feeding supervision
- Water management
- Stock control management
- Bio Security management
- Shrinkages management
- Average body weight management of layers or broiler
- Organize and monitoring of Poultry Shed’s cleaning
- Ratification of internal audit nonconformances
- Supervision & control of farm employees
Key Competency Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in any of the following field: Agriculture or Animal husbandry
- At least 1 Year of experience in a similar role, however fresh tertiary graduates are encouraged to apply
- Wiliness to stay in company provided shared accommodation
- Willingness to perform extra yards, as and when required
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- ISO and HACCP knowledge will be an added advantage
