Job Overview
Summary of Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
- Safe and timely delivery & pickup between designated sites
- Ensure vehicle is cleaned regularly and presents an appropriate image of the company
- Effective and efficient customer service
- Ensure that all necessary details are captured on the consignment note and correct charges according to actual or volumetric weight is applied
- Daily cash tendered for service rendered is accounted in the handover book given to shift supervisor on the same day
- Balancing of handover book and submitting it to the Supervisor at the end of each shift
- Ensuring that all air/sea freights and surface cargo are closed according to correct destinations and clearly marked on destination stickers
- Uphold the good reputation of the company through courteous interaction with members of the public whilst performing the role
- Abide by OHS rules and regulations
- Any other job related duties as assigned by Supervisors
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of a Form 6 pass
- A valid Group 2 manual driving license with 3 years driving experience
- Valid Group 6 and/or 8 license would be an added advantage
- Ability to work flexibly in demanding situations
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and deliver on targets
