Based at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa, as a full time Digital Marketing Manager, you will be one of the key brand custodians for the hotel. You will be responsible for marketing and brand building strategies for the hotel, both online and offline to drive measurable growth.

A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
• Looking at implementation and performance of the distribution channel strategy, aligned to the hotel brand, loyalty brand and venue marketing strategies to achieve low-cost book direct revenue, market share growth and brand preference.
• Driving channel performance via the management of social media best practices, consulting on optimized hotel marketing content, and ensure integrated use of new and existing IHG tools, platforms and systems.
• Ensuring all marketing content produced by the marketing team (imagery, messaging and language) is up to date and brand compliant.
• Strengthening customer relationships through Social and Earned Media, monitoring both hotel, venue and competitors’ presence on social media for performance enhancement.
• Champion the implementation of the Crowne Plaza brand in the hotel, ensure adherence to Crowne Plaza brand standards in marketing materials across all channels and in hotel collaterals.
• Implement Marketing and Advertising campaigns required for short term and longterm revenue generation.
• Provide digital channel strategies to support sales, marketing and revenue plans.
• Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns.
• Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company websites.
• Identify, define and target key audiences / demographics on digital platforms.
• Distribute compelling keywords, ad copy, photo and video contents aligned to the hotel’s unique positioning via multiple digital channels.
• Plan, monitor and report digital channel performance.
• Keep up to date with industry trends in terms of operations and marketing activity for the relevant regions to stay ahead in the market.
• Research customer opinion and behaviour in order to provide better service and preferred marketing activity for our customers through social media monitoring and engagement and reviewing customer feedback through all other channels.
• Develop brand/business-unit specific marketing campaigns. Ensure all plans are understood and effectively implemented through liaison with the sales, marketing and revenue teams and on-property stakeholders.
• Execute brand and business-unit specific distribution marketing campaigns through both unpaid and paid channels including but not limited to: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Business/Ads Manager, Programmatic Advertising, WordPress (CMS) landing page creations, EDM software and internal industry specific advertising systems, etc.
• Manage ongoing paid advertising campaigns through aforementioned channels.
• Assist with the creation of digital collateral/artwork primarily using Canva (occasionally InDesign) as well as the management of graphic designing.
• Analyse and report on marketing campaign results, and process efficiencies and present periodically to the Management team.
• Provide supportive data analysis through our channels to gain consumer insight.
• Develop, maintain and grow the hotel’s digital presence and continuously look for new opportunities.
• Provide support with identifying and penetrating new channels outside of the regular mix to diversify geographic delivery and secure new transient and leisure customers.
• Research and remain up to date with the latest digital trends and be proactive in implementing new advancements.

What we need from you
Education –
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience –
• 3 to 5 years practical experience in developing or planning content for digital channels within the Crowne Plaza brand.
• Experience with visual, textual and multimedia content and content management systems strongly preferred.
• Travel/hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Required Skills –
• An ability and a passion to manage multiple stakeholders across a diverse number of marketing projects.
• Proven knowledge and experience in Search Engine Marketing.
• Working knowledge of SEO for websites, blogs and social media accounts.
• Knowledge and experience in pay-per-click advertising with Google Ads and Facebook required.
• Strong knowledge of using social media platforms for commercial purposes, EDM’s and content management systems.
• Great communication skills and naturally positive energy shown every day.
• Effective and/or persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management & co-ordination skills plus ability to lead complex multistakeholder initiatives. Eg able to run projects end-to-end.
• Very good command of English.
