Job Overview
  1. Salary Range: $ 12,081.69 – $ 15,489.35 [BAND C]
  • Additional performance payments may be available for our highest performers, in
    accordance with the public Service Commission guidelines.
  1. Contract Term : 3 years with a 6 months probationary period
  2. Duty Station: Several Locations
  3. Reporting Responsibilities:
    a) Reports To: Manager or Seniors Officers
    b) Liaises With: Ministry and other Stakeholders
    c) Subordinates: Nil

The position is responsible for processing and issuance of Fiji passport & permits through the
proper screening of documents/applications, input of data in accordance with the Immigration laws
and legislations.

The position will achieve its purpose through the following;

  1. Prepare, process and register all documentation on a daily basis;
  2. Attend to counter and customer service enquiries;
  3. Prepare, compile and submit all relevant reports;
  4. Maintain relevant databases and registers ensuring daily data entry and filing; and
  5. Actively contribute to Ministry requirements, including planning, budgeting and corporate

Performance will be measured through the following indicators;

  1. Timely and accurate delivery of services that support customer/stakeholders requests and/or
    Requirements, compliant with standard operating procedures.
  2. All agreed Passport services are delivered within agreed timeframes, and compliant with
    Relevant processes, legislation and policies.

In addition to a Diploma (or equivalent work experience )in Office Administration, Management
& Public Administration, Business Administration or relevant field ,the following Knowledge,
Experience, Skills and Abilities are required to successfully undertake this role

1.At least one [1] year experience in a Corporate environment.

  1. Knowledge of Microsoft [Word & Excel] programmes and basic typing skills


  1. Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently or in a team environment.
  2. Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills;
  3. Excellent customer service skills;
  4. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and neutrality in a sensitive environment
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline;

Applicants for employment within the Fiji Civil Service must be Fijian Citizens, under the age of
60, in sound health with a clear police record. The successful applicant will be required to provide
