Tourism Fiji’s primary role is to promote Fiji as a world class tourist destination for the purpose of maximising sustainable and long-term benefits to Fiji.
Tourism Fiji is responsible for the global marketing of Fiji to its core markets of Australia, New Zealand and North America; secondary markets of China, UK/Europe as well as emerging markets of Japan, Singapore and India.
Following border closures due to the global pandemic, Fiji opened its borders again on the 1st December to travel partner counties. It has enjoyed a strong tourism re-start as a result of a strategic focus on Marketing, PR and destination development through its Care Fiji Commitment programme.
Storytelling across our digital channels is a key focus for Tourism Fiji as we inspire the world to visit Fiji. With this in mind, we are seeking freelance Copywriters to write articles and social content for Tourism Fiji’s owned channels of website, social media and EDM.
Tourism Fiji require individuals with experience in writing for international audiences and creating written communication that inspire audiences. Experience in writing for web (including a sound understanding of SEO principles) and packaging written articles into social media content is highly regarded. Tourism experience, while not essential, will also be highly regarded.
Expressions of interest are invited from individuals who can provide freelance copywriting services to Tourism Fiji. Freelance copywriters will supply services between March 2022 and July 2022 on a project basis.
Delivery of high-quality written communication for website, social media, consumer EDM and other digital channels.
