Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements:
To be qualified for this position, applicants must have:
A Master /bachelor’s degree in school counselling, Sociology/Psychology or in a related discipline field with more than 5 years of Experience working with other disciplined organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities
The position is to provide guidance and counselling services to students and staff, develop and implement campus counselling programs that enhance student success, monitor students to identify those with social problems, low self-esteem or disabilities, schedule counselling season, collaborate with parents, teachers and senior management to implement strategies for enhanced social, personal and academic development within each faculty, department and training centre.
- Have compassion skills-empathize with students dealing with emotional or difficult situations.
- Have problem-solving skills to address issues related to students and staff.
- Experience in counselling.
- Have a good command of both oral and written communication skills.
- Have good counselling and interpersonal skills.
- Have good office organizational management and administrative skills.
- Be computer literate.

Terms and Conditions
The role entails a three-year commitment under an employment contract, with remuneration and benefits aligned with the SINU Salary level for Officers in the General Support Services Stream. The contract is subject to renewal based on satisfactory performance.
