Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Order stock and maintain proper display of various types of meat.
  • Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive
  • Rotate products to reduce the chance of any meat spoiling to reduce waste and loss of profits
  • Provide efficient and effective customer service

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience as a Meat Sales Assistant or butcher in a retail or wholesale organization
  • Knowledge of different types of meat and the willingness to handle the same
  • Ability and experience to use meat slicing and cutting equipment
