Job Description

We are looking for a Business Accounts Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, sales of voice, data and ICT products, services and solutions, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities in ICT space.

 Key Duties & Responsibilities

•    Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
•    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
•    Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
•    Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
•    Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
•    Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
•    Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
•    Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
•    Prepare reports on account status
•    Identify and grow opportunities in the voice, data and ICT area
•    Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

 Requirements (Education, Experience and Key Competencies) 

•     Have a Degree in Information Systems /Management/ Marketing/Commerce/ICT or similar discipline
•     Experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development or related field will be an advantage
•     Have a pleasant personality and good business acumen
•     Be technology and business savvy and have a passion for results
•     Have effective presentation and public relations skills
•     Possess a clean and valid driver’s license (group 2)
•     Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyse market data, develop strategic direction and create compelling business cases
•    Ability to work independently without supervision and collaboratively. This is a highly collaborative role requiring solid communication, engagement, sales and presentation skills
•     Strong communication and relationship management skills and the ability to negotiate and facilitate successful outcomes at a high level
