Your day-to-day

 Food and Beverage is what adds flavour to a stay! Guests love to enjoy their favorite drink, whether it’s with friends, family, colleagues, or just on their own. As a Barman, the key to this role is preparing beverages in a timely manner, helping guests to have memorable experiences whenever and wherever they drink.

• Deliver exciting beverage concepts for the Outlet, curating experiences for our Guests through innovative and unique beverage concepts.
• Deliver Food and Beverage service of a high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
• Outlet equipment is clean, polished, sorted, and stored
• Working areas are cleaned and reset quickly
• Food and beverage stock is stored in relation to hotel procedures
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid, and fire and emergency procedures, and operate equipment safely and sensibly
• Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any safety/service incident to the supervisor or manager on duty
• Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
• Train Colleagues in beverage knowledge and bar operations.
• Grooming is impeccable and in accordance with the Hotel’s grooming and presentation standards
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned

 What we need from you

 We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and friendly individual who is willing to learn and build an extraordinary career within a global company. The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum one year of experience as a barman or similar in a luxury hotel and/or resort, restaurant, or bar.
• Must speak fluent English; communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Strong reading and writing abilities are often used when taking orders, describing beverage items, and completing paperwork
• Flexibility - nights, weekends, and holiday shifts are all part of the role
• Being passionate about people and service
